AP Chemistry is what I teach most weeks, from day-one stoichiometry to the tricky equilibrium/acid–base units. I’m a former lab analyst who moved into tutoring full time, so we can talk through real lab results, sig figs, and why a calculation went off. We’ll work homework, unit tests, FRQs, and a simple revision calendar for the AP exam, with a short recap sheet after each session and a running list of weak spots.

I’ve taught AP Chemistry for over a decade in public and private schools and still enjoy the nuts-and-bolts: kinetics graphs, equilibrium setups, and writing clear justification sentences. Lessons are structured around College Board skills, with timed FRQ practice, quick checks each session, and targeted review packs for your weakest two units before the exam. If you’ve got AP Classroom assignments, we’ll use them properly rather than guessing.

Most of my AP Chemistry students come to me for the lab side and FRQs. I was a university teaching assistant and have helped design and troubleshoot high school experiments, so we can talk procedure, sources of error, calibration curves, and how to write a tight conclusion. If you’ve got a lab report or notebook due, bring it and we’ll fix the chemistry first. I’m also big on dimensional analysis for keeping calculations clean.

I tutor AP Chemistry after work (I’m a chemical engineer in process design) and keep sessions practical: set up the problem, choose the right relationships, check units, then sanity-check the answer. I’m especially useful for thermochem, electrochem, and anything with log/ICE tables when your class moves too fast. We’ll do a few past multiple-choice sets each week so the pace feels normal.

Casual but focused AP Chemistry help: we’ll sort out what you don’t get, then hammer it with practice until it’s automatic. I’ve tutored online for years and keep my own folder of worked examples and mini-tests for each unit. Kinetics and equilibrium are my favourites, but I’m also happy to run rapid review sessions before a unit exam or the AP test. If you send questions ahead of time, I’ll prep a targeted problem set.
